Celebrate the Lunar New Year with Red Lips!

A day late but Happy Lunar New Year everyone! Xīnnián kuàilè! 2016 is the year of the monkey! Due to some time constraints and school, I unfortunately could not produce a cool real life Journey to the West Wukong makeup look for all of you this time. D: BUT, I do have this AMAZING new app called Makeup Plus (available for both IOS and Android! :D ) that magically added some subtle monkey features and kinda sorta gave me the look, hehe..
Forreals though, what I do have for you is a spiel of some of my favorite red lipsticks!

Ok girls, you need to get your hands on some Tony Moly products. All the packaging on his products are SO FREAKING CUTE. The top of the cap on this lip tint is in the shape of a heart! Korean based makeup has also been on trend as of late especially lip tints. A popular Asian lip trend is having subtle and fresh color on your lips. This look is achieved by only filling in the inner rim of the lips. It looks as if you just ate a popsicle/cherry. (Perhaps someday I will do a tutorial on this in the future!)
Nyx lipstick in Snow White. So dark, so vampy, so beautiful. Looks great on my pale skin. xD
Sephora Color Lip Last Lipsticks are so underrated. GO PICK ONE UP NOW. This particular color is a brighter coral red and is a matte finish. Girls, this lipstick STAYS PUT. It's great and it's not too expensive! It's not dry like cement like most liquid lipsticks either! Of course it won't last if you are gonna chomp on a burger, eat SUPER oily foods, or have an intense makeout session, but for some wine, water, talking, and light eating, you're good to go!
I am so so sad. I also had another Sephora Color Lip Lasts to show you all. It was a TRUE RED, too. I was literally just wearing it today and yesterday and in the Wukong picture above but the lipstick elves decided to purge me of it and now it's lost..
Got this bad boy as a Sephora Birthday Gift last year. Y'all need to get on that Beauty Insider train if you haven't done so already. If you're crazy like me, go VIB. I am even almost to VIB rouge x_x..
Anyway, Nars products are usually always really good. I mean they should be, with the price on their products, shoot. The color is absolutely gorgeous and I love the name the lipstick was given, Cruella >:)
